Week Review 4:52
Slowly but surely, the light at the end of the tunnel is coming into view. Breakfasts consisting of coffee and lunches made up of chocolate covered espresso bean are turning into actual meals. Prep for the next show is a mere three days away which will launch me into a state of work for the month of February. The storm is missing its precessing calm however.
Puny (but practical) bike ride -...

Welp
Remember that shoot I was excited about for today? Canceled. Day of. Monkey wrench in the whole scheduling for my last week free.

Week Review 3:52
Another week with no actual work done. Creativity is starting to blossom though. I have a theme locked down for an upcoming shoot on Saturday and my processes for darker photography are improving. Results posted as warranted.
Red Tech/Kings v Blues rematch - Spent the day part of Tuesday at Panavision getting another run down of the ins and outs of the Red MX camera. It’s been a while...

Another Bag
Just ordered this bag. Cause, you know, I don’t have nearly enough already and have all the space in my apartment to store it when not in use. While I wanted this Modular 51 bag, I’d have to order from Canada, which can take up to 5 weeks AND I would have to pay an undetermined amount once it shows up on my doorstep. I’m extremely nervous because despite my extensive research...

Week Review 2:52
Two weeks in and already hitting a wall. In productivity that is. I’d like to blame a little thing called civic duty, which is my new hated phrase.
Jury Duty - Don’t feed me shit pie and tell me it’s good. No one wants to go sit in a room with a bunch of other angry people for eight hours only to be dismissed. Don’t get me wrong, it was the best possible outcome,...

Blue Valentine Review
I’m not sure I’m ready for this. While that may be a weak way to begin, it is, just like the movie, truth. I love A) movies that are real and B) don’t have a happy ending, which kind of go hand in hand. Those kind of movies leave me taking away much more than some larger than life action flick or ridiculous comedy team. This movie, stabs you in the heart and breaks off the...

Blackberry Spec (by dave jacobsen)
I shot this one afternoon last week. It’s been a while since I wrote, directed, shot, and edited something so I’m fairly happy. Enjoy and share with anyone who has 30 secs!

Week Review 1:52
This weekly installment is going to kill multiple birds with just fifty-two stones. Not only will it be a motivator to not waste an entire week with meaningless things, it will also provide a necessary entry into the blogosphere. To sweeten the deal even more, I am going to include a self portrait with each one, to document self changes throughout the year. After doing the whole 365 project...

Proactive isn't just for your face
It’s time to change things up. Let’s not call them resolutions. Those never work. More like revelations. Actually doing things instead of just saying it isn’t that hard. It just so happens that the turn of a year is a good starting point. I really feel like anything is possible at this point.
For starters, let’s talk exercise. This is a hard thing to do when you...
Tumblr Retrospective
Man. My whole blog has become nothing more than a graveyard for my instagram photos. Perhaps a resolution for the new year could be actually posting things about my life other than photos from my cell phone. Starting now.
……….hmm.
